2 November 2017Kathryn L. "Kathy" White, 55, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at a local care center.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with Don Wood C.L.S. officiating. Visitation with the family will be 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Kathy was born on Nov. 2, 1961, in Los Angeles, Calif. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, James and Karen (Lund) Witzka. She graduated from North High School in Sioux City. Kathy worked at Aalfs Manufacturing and Burger King.
She enjoyed cooking, playing on her tablet, and fishing, but her greatest love was spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Buster and Malachi.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Virginia Ferdig; significant other, Joseph Allison; niece, Savannah Garcia and her husband, Sergio Garcia; two nephews, Jamie Orozco and Dale Brewer; sister, Bernice Nava; stepsister, Stacey Ortiz; grandnieces, McKenzie, and Alejandra; grandnephew, Gaven; and other nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen; two brothers, Dale and Art; two nephews, David and Richie; grandnephew, Aiden; and her best friend, Debbie.
