Cindy (Jacobson) Stokes, 34, of Sioux City died Wednesday, December 29, 1999 of injuries in an accident on Interstate 29 in Sioux City.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Dale, pastor of New Life Baptist Church in Kingsley, Iowa, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m..

Mrs. Stokes was born February 11, 1965 in Sioux City, the daughter of Paul and Barbara Jacobson. She attended North High School. She married Perry Stokes on April 4, 1984, in Elk Point, S.D.

She was a lifelong resident of Sioux City. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist and attended the Salvation Army Church.

Survivors include her parents, her husband, three sons, Robert Jacobson of Kingsley, Iowa and Paul Daniel and Austin Lee Thomas, both of Sioux City, one brother, Bryan Jacobson and his wife, Tasha of Sioux City, three sisters, Christine Dendy of Sioux City, Tamie and her husband, Steve Sunt of Sioux City and Laurie and her husband, Jeff Britton of Anthon, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Paula Verzani.

Pallbearers will be John Clancy, Ed Stitt, Tracy Jacobson, Rick Jacobson, Brian Barney and Darren Jacobson.
