Mrs. Erma Jones McDonough, 77, 609 E. 20th St. South Sioux City, died Friday in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Jack Becker Funeral Home in South Sioux City. The Rev. Dale Church of Hornick, Iowa will officiate. Burial will be in Climbing Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McDonough, the former Erma Lou Baxley, was born July 31, 1902 at Climbing Hill. She had lived in the Climbing Hill area until 1950 when she moved to Hubbard, Nebraska. She had been a resident of South Sioux City since 1959.

She married Paul Jones January 31, 1924, in Sioux City. He died July 4, 1944 in Sioux City. She married Michael McDonough May 7, 1950, at Hubbard. He died October 12, 1968 in Sioux City.

She was a member of the Climbing Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Thorvald (Grace) Mogensen of South Sioux City and Mrs. Jessie Carr of Hornick.
