Gertrude Elizabeth Lloyd daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Lloyd was born near Smithland, Iowa, May 28, 1924 and passed away at their home March 28, 1925, being 10 months old.

Death was due to pneumonia. Besides the mother and father, the grandparents, a host of other relatives and friends are left to mourn the passing.

But we know that she has passed the shinning river and is in the arms of glory above.

But we know that he has gone beyond safe in the arms of Jesus.
Gone so soon our little darlings,
Gone to leave this world of sin,
Gone so soon to be with Jesus,
Who said, “Bring the children in”
Gone, our darlings how we miss
Them as through life we still trudge on.
But we know our flowers are
Blooming up in heaven where they’ve gone.
