Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist Church at Smithland for Mrs. Ida May Lucas, 95, former resident of Smithland, who died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ora Green of Yale, Iowa.

Rev. Worthy Usher will officiate, and burial will be in the Smithland Cemetery with the Willman Funeral Home of Rodney in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lucas was born November 18, 1860. She was the widow of William Lucas.

Survivors in addition to Mrs. Green are a son, O.O. Lucas of Smithland, five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
