Robert M. (Bob) Clark, 72, 1514 W. 26th St. longtime Sioux City barber, died Wednesday in a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel. The Rev. James H. Torn of Mayflower Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Tyrian Lodge 508 AF & AM will conduct Masonic rites at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral Chapel.

Mr. Clark was born January 15, 1909, at Smithland, Iowa, where he was raised and attended public schools. He graduated from the Sioux City Barber College.

He married Dorothy Schoen June 7, 1940 at Dakota City. He owned and operated a barber shop known as Bob’s Barbers for more than 50 years.

Mr. Clark was a member of the Master Barbers, Tyrian Lodge 508 AF & AM, Sioux City Scottish Rite Bodies, Abu Bekr Shrine Temple and the Elks Club. He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman and was past president of the Saddle and Hunt Club.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Gary P. (Connie) Duffy of Kansas City, Missouri; one son Jeffrey of Chicago, Illinois and three brothers, Dewey of Smithland, ?? of Eureka, California and Les of Francisco, California.
