Donna J. Buckley, 63, of Sioux City, died peacefully on Sept. 14, 2017, in her home surrounded by loved ones after a prolonged illness.
Cremation will take place, and private services will be held. Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Donna Joy, daughter of Elbert “Ted” and Joy (Abker) Frields, was born April 10, 1954 in Sioux City. Donna grew up in Sioux City and graduated from West High School.
Donna worked at Zenith, Interbake, St. Luke’s Hospital and Walmart.
She enjoyed shopping, Facebook, crafts, Christmas, doodling and password.
She is survived by two daughters, Nicole (Micah) Thompson and April (John) Leigh; six grandchildren, Tyson, Tavian, Talan, Callen, Takaia and Cora; two sisters, Diana (Mike) Stubenrauch and Debbie (Jim) Newell; three nephews; and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert “Ted” Frields and Joy Frields Siemer.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
