Richard W. McCabe, 61, Sioux City, died Monday, July 3, 2017, at his home.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Richard was born on March 31, 1956, in Sioux City, the son of Donald and Eileen (O'Donnell) McCabe. He was raised in Sioux City, graduating from East High School. He continued his education at Western Iowa Tech Community College studying photography.

Richard married Cindy Rice on April 24, 1981. They were married for more than 25 years. For the last 15 years, Richard had worked at Interbake Foods.

Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and music. He also loved to cook and grill.

Survivors include three children, William McCabe, Jenny (Luis) Flowers and Nicholas McCabe, all of Sioux City; a grandson, Cohen McCabe; two brothers, Greg (Deb) McCabe of Florida, and Donnie (Peggy) McCabe of Nebraska; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
