Tommy was born Aug. 18, 1944, in Sioux City, the son of Clarence “Dan” and Dorothy (Noble) Archer. Tommy grew up in Sioux City, and graduated from Central High School.

He married Cheryl Haller on Sept. 7, 1963, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. To this union, two sons were born.

Tommy worked in sales for Metz Baking for 30 years and then worked for Mercy Medical Center for 10 years before retiring. His true love in life was his family and to joke and laugh with everyone that was around him. Everywhere he went, he told funny, if not a little inappropriate, jokes. His humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Archer of Sioux City; his sons, Steve and Lisa of Sioux City, and Kevin and Charity of Jefferson, S.D.; and his two grandchildren, Bailey and Casey Richards and Madison Archer.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
