Larry James Frye, 53, of North Sioux City died Saturday, March 21, 1998, in Sioux City following a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Riverside United Methodist Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Merrill G. Muller officiating. Burial will be in McCook Cemetery at North Sioux City. Berkemier Funeral Home in Sioux City is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Frye was born March 12, 1945 in Sioux City, the son of Clarence and Jeanette (Girard) Frye.

He married Linda Cain on August 19, 1964 in Elk Point, S.D. The couple made their home in North Sioux City.

He was a self-employed mechanic. He enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Ashley Frye and Jodie and her husband, Randy Honeycutt, both of North Sioux City and Shawn and her husband, David Henry, of Sioux City; a step-daughter, Brandy Kamrath of South Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Stella and Harry Green of North Sioux City and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Orville and Richard.

Pallbearers will be Huck, Ernie and Terry Frye, Randy Honeycutt and David J. and David M. Henry.
