8 April 2017SIOUX CITY | Kenneth T. "Ken" Solvsberg, 94, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, passed away Thursday. April 6, 2017.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morningside Star Lutheran Church, 331 South 85th Ave., in Omaha. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, with military honors. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Heafey Hoffmann Dworak Cutler, Belair Chapel in Omaha. Condolences may be sent online to www.heafeyheafey.com.
Ken was born in Sioux City, on March 18, 1923.
He was survived by his daughters, Karen Valgora and Louise Schaffart; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife, Adeline L. Solvsberg; and grandson, Joseph Valgora.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
