SIOUX CITY | Rosemary June (Lee) Hall, 69, of Elwood, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at Lexington (Neb) Regional Hospital from her fight with lung cancer and later pneumonia.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Waterbury Funeral Service, 4125 Orleans Ave, in Sioux City. Burial will be in September in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rosemary was born to E. Wayne and Ida Grace (Mangold) Lee, on Oct. 12, 1947, in Sioux City. She spoke fondly of her childhood memories of her dad, who passed when she was 14 years old.

She married Joseph Snow Sr. and welcomed three children, whom she fiercely protected to the very end.

She moved from Kansas City, Mo. with her children, to western Nebraska to live close to her mother. She took pride in obtaining her general education diploma 13 years after high school. She worked at the care home and western Nebraska General Hospital before moving to Louisville, Ky., to be close to her sister, Nancy, after their mother passed. Both sisters became employed by Caesars/Horseshoe Southern Indiana Casino in 1998, where she would work until retirement in early 2014. She was also bookkeeper for Charity Bingo Hall.

The friendships she made in Kentucky would be ones she held so very dear. The most precious event was a simple wedding to the the life long love of her life, Ronald Hall. The lyrics in their favorite song was, "Can I have this dance for the rest of my life" and they did. They celebrated their 33rd anniversary on Jan., 14, 2017. Upon Rosemary and Ron's retirement in 2014, they moved back to Elwood to be closer to their treasured family.

Rosemary enjoyed video chats with her best friend, Cindy Lee and phone calls with Suz and her dear friends from Kentucky. Brows and gossip, face time with Angel, surprise visits from baby Joaquin and most importantly to her were the family gatherings and puzzles, the perfect way to sit and chat for hours, and to reminisce and make memories.

Rosemary is survived by her husband, Ron of Elwood; daughter, Grace (Marvin) Cochrane of Eusti, Neb., and children, Elizabeth (Juan) and their children, Briana and Angel of Lincoln, Neb., Amanda and goddaughter, Izabella Mae-Rose, Nicole and her child, Joaquin and Anthony, all of Lexington, Neb., Dakota and family of Omaha, and Shyann and family of Broken Bow, Neb.; daughter, Lori (Eric) Hagan of Elwood, Neb., and children, Adam (Ray) of North Platte, Neb., Dylan of Holcomb, Kan., Jordan, and Elwood; and son, Joseph Jr. of Sioux City, and children, Kaysha (Stephen) and their children Taysha and lil Tawny, Kerra June, and Ashleigh, all of Greeley, Neb., Christopher and daughter, Paisley, James, Mae Rose and Evalynn, all of Winnebago, Neb.; a sister, Marlyn (Duane) White of South Sioux City; a brother, Ed (Juanita) Lee of Carrollton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews that loved their Aunt Rosie.
