16 April 2017SIOUX CITY | Brian R. Link, 62, of Sioux City, died unexpectedly Monday, April 10, 2017, at a Sioux City hospital.
As per family wishes, no services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.
Brian was born Aug. 2, 1954, in Mclaughlin, S.D., the son of Roy and Lorraine Link. He was raised in Rapid City, S.D., and moved to Sioux City in 1969, graduating from East High School 1972.
He married Christine Evans in 1963 in Sioux City, and they started their family, two sons, Steven Link and Corey Link and one daughter, Carissa Link, all of Sioux City. He was employed by Jordan Millwork, Walensky Lumber and UBC.
In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan.
Brian is survived by Christine Link of Davenport, Iowa; Steven Link of Sioux City, Corey and Sarah (Dennehey) Link of Sioux City, and Carissa Link; along with five grandchildren; and one brother, Brad Link of Colorado.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Roy Link and mother, Lorraine Link.
