SOUTH SIOUX CITY | Kyle M. Eichmann, 19, of South Sioux City, formerly of Sioux City, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at his home.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 2223 Indian Hills Drive, in Sioux City, with the Rev. David Hemann, celebrant. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Kyle Matthew Eichmann, the son of Jeffrey and Teresa (Dibble) Eichmann, was born on June 20, 1997, in Sioux City at 7:48 a.m., one minute before his twin brother, Curtis. Kyle's family made their home on Jones Street in Sioux City and he attended Hunt Elementary, North Middle School and graduated from North High School with the class of 2015. While in high school, he was a member of the wrestling, football and track teams. Currently, Kyle was attending Western Iowa Tech Community College studying cyber defense. Kyle worked as a lifeguard at Four Seasons Health Club in Sioux City.

Kyle was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He enjoyed bowling, camping, board games and online gaming especially Zelda. He was a collector of many things. Kyle was always there to help people and was the recipient of the Citizen Award through his school. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Kyle was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

He is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Teresa Dibble-Eichmann; twin brother, Curtis Eichmann; maternal grandfather, Ronald Dibble; paternal grandmother, Julia Domina; uncles and aunts, Roger Dibble, Shari Dibble, Bob Dibble, Joan (Craig) Werner, Diane (Ken) Geary and Elaine Whiteford; many cousins; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Darlene Dibble; uncle, Earl Eichmann; and two cousins: Autumn Chesher and Brian Geary.

Pallbearers will be Edgar Cortez, Ben Rodriguez, Joseph Peck, Timothy Chavez, Jonah Kessel and Colin McCue II. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle's cousins, Ryan and Jared Werner.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
