5 March 2017SIOUX CITY | Michael Alton, 32, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017.
Michael was cremated, and memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.
Michael was born Sept. 11, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Don and Cyncia (Griggs) Maryott.
Michael was a member of the 960th Quartermaster of the U.S. Army Reserves and had served in Iraq.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and family.
Survivors include six children, Mason, Marcus, Landen, McKayla, Morgan and Melanee; his parents, Cyncia and Don Maryott of Thurston, Neb.; a brother, John and his wife, Maggie; and a sister, Rachel and her husband, John.
Michael was preceded in death by his older brother, James.
