5 March 2017SIOUX CITY | Norine C. Ryan, 73, of Sioux City, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at a local care facility.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at Heritage Northern Hills, 4000 Teton Trace, Sioux City. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Norine Ryan was born July 12, 1943, to Patrick and Helen (Moncreiff) Ryan. She spent her younger years in Chicago, Ill., graduated with a bachelor's degree from Rosary College and completed an M.A. and A.B.D. at Marquette University in Wisconsin.
She traveled to Sioux City to accept a position in the English Department at Briar Cliff College. Per Norine's wishes, her body has been donated to science for research.
Norine would like to thank everyone for the friendship, dedication, and love shown to her, especially the Hospice workers, and friends at Heritage at Northern Hills.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Norine's name to Hospice of Siouxland.
