URIAH ALBERT MORGAN, age 87, died unexpectedly on February 15, 2017. Al was born May 26, 1929, in Sioux City, Iowa, the fifth child of Charles Morgan and Helen Hoebelheinrich. He graduated from Trinity Prep in Sioux City, where he participated in track and boxing and enlisted in the Navy at age 17. After his service he attended DePaul University and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1956. Al married Beverly Huth of Sioux City and their first child, Barbara, was born in Iowa City. After graduation Al and Beverly settled in Sioux City where Al started his law practice. Four more children, Max, Mark, Nancy and Jane were born there. Al began working as an attorney in the Maricopa County Attorney's office in 1968 and in the attorney General's office in 1970. He retired from that position in 1990. Al was a fitness and sports enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Beverly and four of his children, Barbara, Mark, Nancy and Jane. He was preceded in death by his son Max and parents. He leaves behind nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
