SIOUX CITY | Steven D. LaFave, 58, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017 in Sioux City.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, with the family present 5 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Steven was born June 10, 1958, in Sioux City, the son of Darrell and Barbara (DeLand) LaFave. He enlisted in the United States Army.

Steven married Dana Tolle on July 7, 2015, in Sioux City.

Steven worked various jobs and enjoy fishing. He also was an avid sports fan, including stock cars, NASCAR, and football.

Survivors include his wife, Dana of Sioux City; mother, Barbara LaFave of Sioux City; brothers, Stewart (Dawn) LaFave and Stanley LaFave, both of Sioux City; niece, Melony; and nephews, Ryan, Chad, Cody and Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his father; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
