SIOUX CITY | Lacey Layne Klaahsen, 32, of Sioux City, formerly of Rock Valley, Iowa, died Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, after her courageous fight with cancer.

Her remembrance services will include a private family viewing for the immediate family today. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Reformed Church of Rock Valley, with the Rev. Mike Molenaar officiating. Visitation with family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Lacey is survived by her daughter, Ryla Cline; significant other, Ryan Cline and his two daughters, Kiersten and Alexa, all of Sioux City; parents, Nick and Denise Greene of Rock Valley; two brothers, Ryan (Stacy) Greene of Brandon, S.D., and Christopher Greene of Chariton, Iowa; two sisters, Katelyn Greene and Samantha Greene, both of Rock Valley; grandparents, Eldon and Diane Klaahsen of St. Ansgar, Iowa, and Jack and Lila Greene of Creston, Iowa; four aunts, DeAnna Klaahsen and Michael Mehrara of Phoenix, Ariz., Darcey Klaahsen of Tiffin, Iowa, Linda (Doug) Richie of Blackburn, Mo., and Sheri (Rusty) Plough of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two uncles, Danny (Debbie) Greene of Carroll, Iowa, and Ryan (Beth) Klaahsen of Nora Springs, Iowa; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and her Famous Family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting all monies be directed to Lacey’s daughter, Ryla Cline, in a scholarship fund set up at Premier Bank in Rock Valley, Iowa.
