MOVILLE, Iowa -- Dick Hill, 58, of Moville died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, at Morningside Nursing and Rehab Center.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.

Dick was born April 18, 1947, in Le Mars, Iowa, to Curtis Ward and Joy (Christensen) Hill. He grew up in the Leeds area, graduating from Leeds High School in 1966. In the early 1970s, Dick attended Minneapolis College of the Fine Arts.

He married Karen Grenier in October of 1981. To this union, a son, Andrew was born.

Dick enjoyed woodworking and wine making for which he won numerous ribbons at the Woodbury County Fair. He also enjoyed fishing and camping.

Survivors include a son, Andrew Hill of Midway, Ark.; his parents, Ward Hill of Cornville, Ariz., and Joy McPhail and her husband, Jack of Clarksdale, Ariz.; a brother, Reed Hill and his wife, Mary of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and a sister, Karmen Jorgenson, who died on Dec. 19, 2002.
