SIOUX CITY | Judith Arlene Ashcraft, 73, of Sioux City, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017, at a local care center.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Nelson Berger Northside Chapel, with Chaplain Lorna Peters officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Judith was born Aug. 8, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of Leo and Mary (Patrick) Loftus. She grew up in Lawton, Iowa, and graduated from Lawton-Bronson High School. Judith married Glenn Ashcraft on May 24, 1991.

Judith worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in the housekeeping department for 25 years. She enjoyed playing darts and bingo.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn of Sioux City; daughters, Mary Ulmer, Judy (Phil) Towry, Alicia Godden, Elizabeth (Brian) Culver, and Kelly (Bob) Anbach; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jim, Jay, Bill, and Robert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Don and John.
