4 December 2007Harriett M. Fox, 76, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Brad Hoff officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Larry Adler officiating, at the funeral home. Harriett was born Jan. 18, 1931, in Sioux City, to Harry and Gladys (Flowers) Brinkerhoff. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Sioux City schools. She was a homemaker and mother to nine children and three stepchildren.
She enjoyed reading and writing poetry. She also enjoyed drawing cartoons and gardening, but most of all, she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted Christian.
She is survived by eight children, Bill, Pam, Brenda, Marla, Nancy, Tom, James and Lora; a brother, Roger Brinkerhoff; and numerous grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant son, Keith.
Pallbearers will be Michaelle Sullivan, Beau Sullivan, Jake Kraemer, Dan Kraemer, Michael Frank and Billy Hurd.
