SALIX, Iowa | Diane A. Clark, 70, of Coralville, Iowa, formerly of Salix, passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at home surrounded by family.

Services will be 10 a.m Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City, Iowa, with the Rev. Jeff Belger officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are with Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Condolences may be left at www.lensingfuneral.com.

Diane was born March 28, 1945, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Herbert and Ethel (Copple) Johnson. She graduated from The University of Iowa with a bachelor's degree in psychology.

She married John Clark on June 20, 1964, in Salix. John passed away March 27, 2015.

Diane retired from NCS, now Pearson, in 2009.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes football team. Most important, she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Stacia (Randy) Thompson of Sioux City, Joseph (Linda) Clark of Atkins, Iowa, and Jennifer Clark of Iowa City; grandchildren, Calvin, Madeline, Ethan, Libby and James; brother, Terry (Rose) Johnson of Sloan, Iowa; and sister, Colleen (Ken) Johnson of Sioux City.

She was preceded by her parents; and her husband.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice.
