Robert J Schroeder, 48, former Sioux Cityan, died Saturday at his home in St. Paul, Minn., after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Schroeder was born here March 19, 1915.

He married Betty Droege in St. Paul in October 1946. Mrs. Schroeder was employed as a dietitian at St. Joseph Mercy hospital here for several years.

Survivors in addition to the widow include a daughter, Mary Roberta, a son, Fred and a sister, Mrs. E.F. O’Brien of Sioux City.

Funeral services are scheduled tentatively Tuesday at the Church of the Nativity in St. Paul. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at St. Paul.
