9 January 2017SIOUX CITY | Theresa L. Ibsgaard, 46, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, Jan. 1, 2017, at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Becker–Hunt Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clyde Pritchett officiating.
Theresa was born April 3, 1970, in Sioux City, the daughter of Robert W. and Sandra S. (Fredrickson) Ibsgaard. She graduated from high school. She was employed in construction, as a cook at the Glass Place and also as a security guard.
She attended Cross Roads Evangelical Church in South Sioux City.
Survivors include her significant other, Heather Mlejnek and children, Castle and Kala-Ann Mlejnek, all of Sioux City; her caregivers, Stormy Martinson, Dallas Plunkett and Conner Lund; and three brothers, Robert Childers of Sioux City, Jason Vanthyne of Sergeant Bluff, and Jeremy Vanthyne of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, David Ibsgaard and Alfred Vanthyne Jr.
