30 October 2016SIOUX CITY | Nancy L. Pinney, 73, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at her residence, surrounded by her family. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service in Sioux City.
Per her wishes, Nancy will be cremated and private family burial services will be held at a later date in Graceland Park Cemetery.
Nancy was born on Aug. 11, 1943, in Sioux City, the daughter of Donald and Velma (Boulden) Closson. She attended East High School.
On Dec. 5, 1961, she married Richard Pinney in South Sioux City. Together they made their home in Sioux City, where Nancy worked at Aalfs Manufacturing and St. Vincent Hospital, as well as being a homemaker. Richard worked for Sioux Tools and MidAmerican Energy until his retirement.
Survivors include her husband, Richard; three children, Eveline Ann Pinney, Douglas (Rosalie) Pinney, and Donald (Cindy) Pinney, all of Sioux City; and many grandchildren.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Marlene Prichard.
