SIOUX CITY | Anne Marie Pietz, 34, of Kansas City, formerly of Sioux City, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, in Kansas City.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Anne Marie Pietz was born on Jan. 23, 1982, in Masan, South Korea. In September 1982, she joined her forever family, Ron and Marlene Pietz family, in the United States. Anne grew up and attended school in Sioux City. She attended St. Joseph Elementary, Epiphany Middle School and graduated from North High School in 2000. She later received her LPN license.

Since 2007, Anne had made her home in the Kansas City area and worked as a home health nurse.

Anne enjoyed her family and always had a special bond with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her parents, Ron and Marlene Pietz of Sioux City; four siblings, Andrew Pietz of Sioux City, Becky (Chris) Tiebout of Belton, Mo., Tim (Bobbi) Pietz of Kingsley, Iowa, and Mary Kay Pietz of Sioux City; five nieces and nephews, C.J. Freeman, Cecilia Tiebout, and Adam, Michael and Abigail Pietz; and aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

Anne was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Anne's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
