11 May 2016SIOUX CITY | Frances E. Rickabaugh, 88, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Countryside Nursing Home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave, with the Rev. Larry Nilson officiating. Burial will be in Sloan Cemetery, Sloan, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
Frances was born on Nov. 16, 1927, in Luton, Iowa, the daughter of Everett and Lydia (Cobb) Lines. She graduated from Luton High School.
Frances married William H. Rickabaugh in 1949. He passed away in 1976.
Frances enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, sewing, embroidering, scrap booking, making cards, playing bingo, and most importantly, spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Frank D. (Barbara) Rickabaugh of Akron, Iowa, Darlene Rounds of Las Vegas, Nev., and RaVonne (Ralph) Riffey of Sioux City; sister, Lela (Robert) Williams of Sergeant Bluff; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; son, Perry W. Rickabaugh; brother, Gary Lines; grandson, William Rickabaugh; and great-grandson, Nicholas Garrard.
