Tony Peters, 21, 2200 Lafayette Street, radio engineer, died in a hospital Tuesday following an illness of one week. For the last two years he was employed as chief engineer for KTRI.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Trimble Methodist Church. Rev. Arthur Dyson will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body was to be taken to the residence this afternoon where it will remain until time of the services. Westcott-Doughty-Chandler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born December 25, 1921, in Sioux City, he was a graduate of Central High School and attended Morningside College. He was a graduate of a radio School at Kansas City, Mo.

Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas P. Peters, of Sioux City.
