Francena E. "Teeny" Conway, 85, of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, in Dakota Dunes, S.D., with her family at her side.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dale George officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Conway was born Feb. 19, 1918, in Omaha, to Helen and Frank Morris. She married Daniel "Pat" Conway on Nov. 21, 1939, in Omaha. Together, the couple raised a family of five children in Sioux City. After Pat's death in 1984, she relocated to Sun City.

She was primarily a homemaker and mother, who was an avid bridge player and golfer. She was a master duplicate bridge player. She enjoyed playing golf several times a week until she was 84 years old. Her family and friends looked forward to her much-loved fried chicken and old-fashioned potato salad dinners.

She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

She is survived by a brother, Richard Morris of Las Vegas, Nev.; five children and their spouses, Dan and Rose Conway of Sioux City, Denny and Sally Conway of Lenexa, Kan., Daphne and James Redmond of Dakota Dunes, Dwight and Barb Conway of Hot Springs, Ark., and David and Lori Conway of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, Patrick Conway, D.J. Conway, Terri McMurphy, Damon Redmond, Angela Conway, Cory Conway, Erin Redmond, Candice Conway, Tim Conway and Kara Conway; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland.
