SIOUX CITY | Gregg D. Eyer, 55, of Topeka, Kan., formerly of Sioux City, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, in Liberty, Mo.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.

Gregg was born Nov. 10, 1960, in Sioux City, the son of Duane and Bonnie (Gorsett) Eyer. He grew up in Sioux City, graduating from East High School. Over the years, Gregg drove semi for CPT, Hirschbach Trucking, Jim Palmer Trucking and JRW Trucking, among others.

He lived and breathed motorcycles, particularly his Harley, which is what he named his dog. Gregg was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lyla Holt-Eyer of Topeka, Kan; daughter, Erin Eyer of Sioux City; son, Dylan Eyer of Sioux City; sister, Brenda Sigler of Harrisburg, S.D.; and brother, Rob Eyer of Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Dennis Sigler.
