Edgar Ray Cornell, 89, 123 Kansas Street, died Tuesday at a hospital here after a brief illness.

Mr. Cornell had lived in Sioux City two years, having come here after 15 years residence at Mason City, Iowa. He was born November 28, 1857, in Illinois.

Survivors include two sons, Harvey L. and Fred H. both of Sioux City and three daughters, Mrs. Zulu Row of Billings, Mont., Mrs. Lulu Morehouse of Mason City and Mrs. Frances Williamssen of Swaledale, Iowa.

The body was taken to Manning’s Funeral Home.
