Manager of Theater at Kingsley Dies

Kingsley, Iowa—Special: Wayne P. Strong, 41, manager of the DeLuxe Theater here until ill health forced his retirement several months ago, died Thursday morning at his home.

Mr. Strong came here in 1943 from Odebolt where he operated a restaurant for five years.

Mr. Strong was born January 26, 1905, at Climbing Hill. He married the former Miss Gladys Beckman July 21, 1938, at LeMars.

Surviving are the widow; a son, John Sanford; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. M.S. Strong of Climbing Hill and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Carlson of Smithland and Mrs. Milton Shumate of Moville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Methodist Church here with Rev. H. W. Faris and Rev. M.L. Metcalf officiating. Burial will be in the Climbing Hill Cemetery. The Dickinson funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
