24 August 1986Correctionville, Iowa— Chuck H. Siefke, 82, of Correctionville, died Thursday in a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Walter Chapel in Anthon. The Rev. Kermit Gladfelder will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery at Rock Branch, rural Correctionville. Visitation is after 2 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Siefke was born June 23, 1904, in Woodbury County, Rock Branch, rural Correctionville. He served in the army during World War II. He worked for Illinois-Central Railroad at Cherokee and lived in Cherokee and Anthon before moving to Correctionville in early 1950’s.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Dale Manson of Correctionville, with whom he had lived.
