SIOUX CITY | Cynthia Mae Combs, 51, of Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 30, 2016, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Cindy was born on Sept. 8, 1964, in Sioux City, the daughter of Martin and Nina (Maaske) Harder. She grew up in Sioux City, and attended Woodrow Wilson and North High, where she was a cheerleader.

Cindy married Tim Combs on Sept. 11, 1987, in Elk Point, S.D. She worked for Mercy Medical Center for 12 years, at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, and at Atokad race track as a bingo caller, and was presently employed at Kum & Go.

Cindy was a caring person to everyone. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, play bingo, play cards, and dance. Cindy liked to collect antique glassware, elephants and many other knickknacks.

Survivors include her husband, Tim Combs of Sioux City; two daughters, Crystal Harder and her fiance, and Brittany Combs and her fiance, Seth Bodlak, all of Sioux City; son-in-law, Rogelio Perez Sanchez "Tony"; two brothers, Kenny Harder and his wife, Brenda of Sioux City, and Mark Harder and his wife, Teresa of Austin, Texas; her sister, Jeannie Delfs and her husband, Jeff of Sioux City; six grandchildren, Cynthia Garcia, Jose, Jesus, and Timothy Sanchez, and Alias and Azlyn Bodlak, and one on the way; and two special friends, Lorenzo Avila and Mauricio Quintero.

Cindy was preceded by her parents; her son, Timothy Combs; her brother, Gary Harder; her mother and father-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and two sisters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Cindy's name.
