DAKOTA CITY | Marjorie E. Teager, 87, of rural Dakota City passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at her residence.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City, with the Rev. Gary Panko officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service and time of sharing at 7 p.m., at Becker–Hunt Funeral Home.

Marjorie Elaine Teager was born on July 19, 1928, in Wausa, Neb., the daughter of Fridolph E. and Signe L. (Johnson) Lindstrom. She graduated from Wausa High School in 1945 and Nettleton Business College in Sioux City.

She married Paul F. Teager on Nov. 19, 1949, in Wausa. The couple farmed in the South Sioux City area.

She enjoyed quilting, loved to fish and camp, gardening and square dancing. She loved traveling, going on cruises, and spending time at their cabin in Canada.

Survivors include three sons, Larry P. (Charlyn) Teager of South Sioux City, Patrick (Patricia) Teager of Jackson, Neb., and Robert (Carla) Teager of Blair, Neb.; a daughter, Jeri Lynn Book and her finance, Dave Snakenberg of Sioux City; a brother, Phillip Lindstrom of Hampton, Va.; a sister, Marilyn (Darvey) Westre of Urbandale, Iowa; eight grandsons, Eric, Bryce, Seth, Levi, Michael, Bradley and Paul E. Teager, and Ryan Book;her favorite granddaughter, Leslie Book; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul on July 17, 2009; and a brother and his wife, Robert "Bob" and Arlis.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church or Hospice of Siouxland.
