Andrew E Camp 1849 - 1918

Andrew E Camp was born in Bennington, Vermont, May 20, 1849. At ten years of age he removed to Brimfield, Ill. Came to Iowa in 1880, and until seven years ago lived almost all the rest of his life near Holly Springs.

He passed from the earthly life at Bismark, N D, April 26, 1918, having lived 68 years, 11 months and 6 days.

In his young manhood he took Julia Etta Liebhart to be his wife. She remains with their 9 children to mourn his departure.

The children are: Helen J Rose, San Juan, Texas; Hosea P Camp, Webb City, Mo.; Annie L Clayton, Bronson, Iowa; Agnes E Holdcroft, Holly Springs, Iowa; Bossie J Camp, Eva M Hyland, Floyd Camp, Sadie Camp, Lark, N D; Ethel Rosh, New Sabin, N D.

Two sons lie buried at Holly Springs cemetery. Three half brothers are living, vis; Sydney Camp, Spokane, Wash; Herbert at Mankato, Minn; Edwin at Buckley, Illinois.

The minister of the church of Christ at Holly Springs preached the funeral sermon at 2 p.m. May 2, 1918.
