SIOUX CITY | Lorraine McClure, 81, of Sioux City passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Riverside Methodist Church, with the Rev. Merrill Muller officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time Saturday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 Fourth Street.

Lorraine was born on Dec. 21, 1934, in Anthon, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Dorothy White. She was the youngest of four children. Lorraine went to school in Anthon, and graduated from East High School.

On Sept. 15, 1953, she married the love of her life, Dick McClure, and from this union they had one daughter, Dot. Lorraine and Dick made their home in Sioux City, where she worked at Wincharger, Donnelly Marketing and finally retiring from IAMS in 2000.

Lorraine found no greater joy then spending time with her family and attending her grandson's baseball games. She always had a smile on her face and a Dr. Pepper in her hand.

She is survived by her daughter, Dot (Jack) of Sioux City; her grandchildren, Corey Frye of Kansas, Kyle Frye of Sioux City, and Keli Frye of Raleigh N.C.; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Devin, Brennan, and Jace Frye, and Johnny and Jada Doctor; also a very special friend, Angie Koep of Sioux City.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother; and two sisters.
