SIOUX CITY | Barbara (Moorhead) Kladstrup Hostetler, 90, formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Bentonville, Ark.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Presbyterian Church in Bella Vista, Ark., 1880 Forest Hills Boulevard. Arrangements are under the direction of Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory. Online condolences may be made through Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory at www.funeralmation.com.

Barbara was born on Aug. 12, 1925, in Moorhead, Iowa. She attended Morningside College and graduated from the University of Iowa.

In 1947, Barbara married Arlo "Pete" Kladstrup. They lived in Sioux City, where Barbara was a children's librarian for the public school system. In 1985, Barbara and Pete retired to Bella Vista, where Pete died in 1995. In 2003, Barbara married Raymond Hostetler.

She volunteered for many organizations including her church, the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, and the Bella Vista Library. She was a member of PEO and a wonderful friend to many in the community. She also found time to travel, visiting six continents and all 50 states, and spending summers in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

She is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Kathy Kladstrup (Bruce Becker) of Mendota Heights, Minn., Susan Kladstrup (Ric Shimshock) of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Kristin Kladstrup (Rob Scudder) of Watertown, Mass.; six grandchildren; three stepdaughters and their families; and her brother, John of Moorhead, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemary.
