Genelle A. Tuttle, 78, of Sioux City, Iowa, died Sunday, June 12, 2016 at UnityPoint Health – St. Luke's in Sioux City.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa.

Genelle Alamay was born April 24, 1938 in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Napoleon and Jennie (Rush) Allard. She graduated from Central High School in 1956 and went on to college and acquired her ADN. She worked as an R.N. in the labor and delivery unit at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City for 35 years.

Genelle and Gerald Tuttle were united in marriage in 1955 in Sioux City.

She was a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church in Sioux City. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, canning, and reading. Her life was full of family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Gerald Tuttle; three daughters, Candy (Jack) Delperdang, Carrie Jean (Russ) Delperdang, and Connie Mae (Thomas) Lenagh; seven grandchildren, Stephanie (Collin) Quinn, Stacey Delperdang, Jeremy Delperdang, Trenton (Elizabeth) Delperdang, Ashley (Barry) Neal, Alex Lenagh, and Andrew Lenagh; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Napoleon and Jennie Allard.
