SIOUX CITY | Linda L. Jackson, 58, of Sioux City died Friday, April 29, 2016, at her home after a two-year battle with cancer.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Homes. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Linda was born July 6, 1957, in Sioux City, the daughter of Melvin and Arlene (Leffler) Hard. She grew up in Sioux City, graduating from East High School.

Linda married Robert Jackson on April 26, 1975. Together they made their home in Sioux City. She worked at Opportunities Unlimited and for over 10 years at UnityPoint St. Luke’s before retiring because of her health.

Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Jackson of Sioux City; a daughter, Sara (Bryan) Jackson-Mulvaney of Omaha; two grandchildren, Jaxon and Kaidan Mulvaney of Omaha; brother, Jim (Sheryle) Hard of Sioux City; and two sisters, Laura (Dan) Linduski of Ogdon, Iowa, and Vicki (Bruce) Lynch of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
