22 April 2016SIOUX CITY | Neil Eugene Cleveland, 82, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at his home.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Roger Madden officiating. Visitation with the family will be 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Neil was born on March 12, 1934, to Marvin and Marie (Peck) Cleveland. He drove truck for 30 years for Rosenthal's Trucking.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Cobb on Jan. 24, 1953, in Elk Point, S.D.
Neil enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing music. He was a drummer for several different bands over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Cleveland; sons, David Cleveland and Dennis (Kimberly) Cleveland, all of Sioux City; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marlo Cleveland of Salton Sea, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother, Marie Mouw and her husband, Hap Mouw; daughter, Laurie Neilsen; brothers, Murry Cleveland, and Merlin Cleveland; and a sister, Myvis Copple
