Mrs. Louis Ast, 95, 4500 Perry Creek Road, died Wednesday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Ast was born December 12, 1871 at Spragueville, Iowa. She lived in Sioux City for the last 14 years. Her husband, Louis died in 1952.

Survivors include two nephews, A.S. Wendel of Bronson, Iowa and Harold Smith of Maquoketa, Iowa; and a niece, Mrs. Robert Fox of Rock Island, Illinois.

The body was taken to the Larkin Funeral Home.
