Death Takes Wife of Mayor at North Sioux

Mrs. Albert Streeter, 53, wife of the mayor of North Sioux City, died early Tuesday morning at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

The former Helen Rozell, Mrs. Streeter, was born March 4, 1913, at Elk Point and moved to Sioux City with her parents when she was an infant. She married Albert Streeter on March 20, 1929, in Sioux City.

Mrs. Streeter was a resident of Union County from the time of her marriage. Mr. Streeter is a Union County commissioner in addition to being mayor.

Survivors include the widow; a son, A.J. (Sonny) of McCook Lake; four brothers, Carvey Rozell of North Sioux City, Roland Rozell of Reseda, California, Harry Remington of Sioux City, and Tom Remington of West Hollywood, California; five sisters, Mrs. Russell Wright and Mrs. Leon Desy, both of Sioux City, Mrs. Doyle Massey of North Sioux City and Mrs. Robert Hoverman and Mrs. Lawrence Tobin, both of La Puente, California; her mother, Mrs. Grace Remington of Sioux City; and five grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Berkemier Funeral Home.
