28 October 2014SIOUX CITY | Robert W. Funck, 56, of Sioux City passed away Oct. 25, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Larkin Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
He was born June 13, 1958, in Sioux City, to Robert and Collette (Lehman) Funck. He graduated from Lawton-Bronson High School in 1976.
He married Susan Baldwin in March 15, 1986. He was devoted to his church and his family which he loved deeply.
Robert never met a stranger and was extremely outgoing and friendly. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, tinkering with bicycles, gardening and was an excellent handyman.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Funck; a daughter, Moria Funck; a son, Austin Funck; his mother, Collette Funck; grandsons, Kai Robertson and Collin Robertson; brothers, Mike Funck, and Joe (Sherry) Funck; two nephews; and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Funck.
