Des Moines- Beverly Riedmiller passed quietly from the ravages of dementia on August 25, 2014.

Beverly was born June 28, 1929 in Danbury, IA to Albert J. and Florence (Goebel) Riedmiller. Her Aunt Stella Goebel came to rear the children with their father when Florence died in 1932.Beverly began her professional career in December, 1947 with Homesteader's Life Company in Des Moines where she retired as Assistant Board Secretary and Compliance Officer. She retired from Homesteader's in June, 1994 after forty-seven years.

Beverly is survived by many cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her Aunt Stella, her brother, Maris (Sandy) and her sister Charis Kavanagh.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 28 at 9:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Ave., Des Moines. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 with a luncheon in the social hall immediately following.

Burial will be Friday, August 29 at 1 p.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Danbury, IA.

Memorials to Wesley Life Hospice 3520 Grand Ave in Des Moines are requested in lieu of flowers. Bev often expressed her enjoyment with her wonderful home at The Shores in Pleasant Hill and appreciated the special care they provided her. Her family may be reached at 319 NE Aaron Ln, Ankeny, IA 50021.
