SIOUX CITY | Kevin Clark Corbett, 54, of Sioux City passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Russell Senstad and Rev. David Zirpel officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the church hall. There will be no graveside services due to Mr. Corbett's wishes to be cremated. Kevin was born on Nov. 11, 1959, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, the son of Edwin Earl and Shirley K. (Mackey) Moore. Kevin graduated from Bellevue University in January 2000. He had been a substance abuse counselor in private practice (Morningside Counseling Services) for the past 20 years.

He enjoyed traveling, golfing and riding his motorcycle as well as spending time with his sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughter.

Survivors include his sons, Jeremy C. Corbett and his wife, Haley, and Dillin J. Corbett, all of Sioux City; granddaughter, Aubree Corbett; brother, Jamie K. Corbett of Ankeny, Iowa; sisters, Kerry Moore of Atlanta, Ga., and Gayle McMillin of Johnston, Iowa; former wife, Christine Casillas of Marcus, Iowa; former companion, Liecia Patterson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Shirley Moore; a brother, Edwin Corbett; and an aunt, Carol Morrison.
