Mrs. Elizabeth Stoughton Lowerre, 88, died Saturday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harold C. Boswell, 2609 West Solvay.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10 a. m. in Anderson's funeral chapel with Rev. S. D. Huff of First Baptist church officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Mrs. Lowerre, who had resided here for five years, was born, August 16, 1850, at Bethlehem, Pa.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. J. W. Forrester of Los Angeles, Cal., Mrs. H. F. McFarland of Emmett, Id., Mrs. I. R. Pimlin of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Boswell; two sons, George E. of Glendale, Cal., and Robert J., of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Osborn of Medicine Lodge, Kan.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
