Mrs. Mellebrogh Anna Hughes Hilton, 80, resident of Sioux City 14 years, died Monday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ida Dykes, 1216 Wall, after a long illness.

Mrs. Hilton was born March 7, 1858, at Heffordshire, England. She came to the United States at the age of 16. Three years later she was married to James Hilton at Marselon, Wis., where the couple lived three years, before moving to Bloomfield, Neb. They made their home there 40 years before moving to Sioux City.

Survivors include Mrs. Dykes and two other daughters, Mrs. Evelina Johnson of Verdel, Neb., and Mrs. Ada Barber of Sidney, Mont., and a son, Harvey, of Sioux City.

The body will be sent from Perasso Brothers funeral home to Bloomfield, Neb., Wednesday for services and burial.
