Peter McEwen Shearer, 47, employe of the North Western railroad, died in his home, 603 Seventeenth, Friday morning. He had been a resident of Sioux City since being transferred here from Thurston, Neb., last March.

The Larkin funeral home is in charge.

Mr. Shearer was born in Glasgow, Scotland, January 9, 1891. He lived several years at Ponca, Neb., before moving to Thurston, in 1933. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen lodge.
